Help
Start playing
These guides cover emulator setup, PS2 network configuration, and adding the calendar bot to a Discord server. Always use a BIOS and game copies obtained legally from hardware and discs you own.
Step one
PCSX2 is a PlayStation 2 emulator for Windows, Linux, and macOS. Begin with the official download and get one game working offline before configuring online play.
Step two
You can play online through PCSX2 or original PlayStation 2 hardware. Both use community-run servers and DNS services. The correct DNS can differ by game, so use the game directory instead of assuming every title uses the default address.
Using the calendar
PS2 Online Calendar brings community play sessions, supported-game information, player groups, and setup help into one place. Each page has a focused job:
Schedule a session
Use manual events when a session is not already being imported from Discord or Reddit. Accurate titles, times, and notes make it much easier for players to join.
Do not include email addresses, real names, passwords, private server information, or other personal data. Use Discord or Coded Messages for conversation.
For community organizers
The bot imports Discord Scheduled Events. It does not read ordinary server messages. A server owner or member with Manage Server permission must authorize it.
Use the full game name in the event title and avoid titles such as "game night" without naming the game.
For players
Friends are connected to accounts, not player names. That means you can change your public player name later and keep the same friends, communities, RSVPs, and event history.
Public profiles should use player names, favorite games, and optional social links only. Do not post real names, private contact details, passwords, or personal information.
Stay connected
Coded Messages is a separate Windows desktop chat app from the same developer. Use it to add friends and keep a conversation going before, during, or after a PS2 play session.
Use the installer from the repository's Releases page. The green Code button downloads source code and is not the normal Windows installer.
